In the era of industrialization agriculture and related animal husbandry also plays important role in our country economy especially rural economy . Today’s different challenges need to face by farmers specially no market prices to products, perishable product preservation , rain irregularity and some natural obstacles are the major hindrance for the development of farmer’s economy hence lifestyle . Animal husbandry is the second line of income to farmers today .Goat milk is a product having higher demand as this milk contain nutrients and their medicine effect in the densely populated cities like Pune , Mumbai etc. Availability of local market attract farmers towards dairy farming .

As a part of goat farming training 5 students from Tribal area in Pune Bhimashankar and Taleghar enquired about the course as per their own strong desire in goat farming . Vigyan Ashram’s Deputy Director Ranjit Shanbag Sir, Ganesh Pingle Sir guided students from entrepreneurship point of view in goat farming.

Participants of goat farming namely Kiran Dagade,Nitin shelke , Sandip Kadale , Jalindar Gadekar , Anil supe etc. got conversant with different types of got like usmanabadi , Salen etc. Understood deeply their benefits from meat and milk aspect point of view. Ranjit Shanbag Sir introduced important basics like feed rate ,artificial incination , Fodder . Ganesh Pingle sir introduced about vaccination and economic aspects of Goat farming.
